Object: More Urges
I am experiencing more urges and some anger. I think that it will be ok, but
need support, I may go lie down and nap some. The urges are troublesome, but
unrelated to self-injury. I keep thinking that someone here is causing them.

When you feel this way, what're the things that have helped in the
past?

Usually a distraction of some kind. I am trying to wean myself away from the
more distructive thoughts. Its working for now. Also just waiting until it
passes is getting easier. I hate the feeling that goes along with it, its
treating me like a small child.

This is pretty insightful David. Being able to say "it's treating me like a
small child" words that imply you feel disrespected, suggests you're aware
of the fact that your illness tells you things about yourself you know are
not true. This could be really significant. Perhaps you would consider
sharing this with your therapist or case worker and have them help you
explore what it might. For some reason your statement feels important to
me.

Hmmm... wondering if you have any hobbies? Something creative? I'll
tell you, a few days ago, I turned the music up loud and sang at the
top of my lungs - distraction helps.
Hang in there David. I'm pulling for you today.
