i listened to some Morse code yesterday, at 40 words per minute. i could
still pick out most of the characters. however, i doubt i can send anymore.
i had a really crappy key. it was home-built. i was always having to
adjust the springs.
i am too paranoid to talk on the radio anymore.

Gravity,
I didn't know you had a ham license. I've had my license
since 1992. I got my General class after they lowered
the code requirement from 13 wpm to 5 wpm. CW was
never of interest to me. I'm president this year of the
local ham club. Trying to get everything organized for
Field Day. Just wish that it was held during a cooler
time of year. Operating 24 hours in the field the last
weekend of June here in Texas can get miserable.
