Mother has annoying voice |
My mother has an annoying, highpitched way of talking. Sometimes I
don't focus on it but when I do focus on it, it can drive me nuts.
Even when she's being nice to me, I can't stand her voice and speech
patterns. What do you think I should do?

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

When it happens, pay attention to how you sense the sound and patterns and
then stop paying attention to that and go back to the meaning of what is
being said rather than how it is being said. Practice doing that
recognition, attention, release and then on with the task at hand,
understanding what is being said.
