Motherhood AHHHHHHHHHHHHH |
I love my daughter. I love her more than I have ever loved anybody else.
I love motherhood. It has made me whole. I worked for the adoption more
then four years. I had many ups and downs in the adoption journey. Days
when I thought it would never happen, and then here I have the best little
girl in the entire world.
However.............................
IF I HAVE TO WATCH CLIFFORD OR ELMO ONE MORE TIME I WILL GO STARK RAVING
MAD.
And just how much do I have to talk about going potty and who goes potty,
what they do on the potty .. and so on and so on.
Kids .. can't live without them .. can't stay sane with 'em.

LOL. I think its so funny how parents quickly lose all
inhibitions...the potty talk of course, or when they lift the baby
right up to their nose and sniff, sniff the butt. Then announce the
verdict to the world.

My sister always used to look into her daughter's diaper to check for poop.
One day when her daughter was about 18 months old the three
of us were out shopping. My sister got down to tie a shoe and my niece
pulled back my sister's pants and peered down into her mom's ******

I had the tubbie (aka spawn of Lucifer) on once. She sat transfixed. It
was quite creepy and I have never had it on again for her. I like Sesame
Street, but her Elmo is on a DVD and he is cute once, twice, but by the 8th
time in a day I'm about to start banging my head into the wall. As for
Clifford. One episode is okay, but her DVD has almost 90 minutes worth.
Sometimes I just tell her it is "Momma's turn" and I change the channel.
Sometimes this works, but other times it leads to a tantrum on her part.

my 10-yr-old can still watch a full-length movie twice in a
day. he likes to fall asleep to a movie he's watched 100+
times. that was not good for my 13-yr-old when they shared a
room.
