Object: movies...
sometimes movies bring up certain deep issues... I guess there are
a lot of factors involved... certain movies bring up more emotional
stuff... other movies don't as much... I guess it depends on a lot of
factors... what the movie was about, how it was done... the mood you
are in when you see it... how you bring yourself to teh experiance you
are having... sometimes movies could be more of an intellectual
experiance, sometimes it's more emotional, sometimes it's more
escapist.... It seems to matter often whether you see a movie in a
theatre where it can be a more emotional experiance, or whether you see
the movie at home... sometimes people can't afford to go to the
theatre, which is kind of sad I guess...some movies feel like "real
life", like what you are viewing is really happening... I guess it's
true of all works of art, that they can either seem realistic or not,
that they can touch us on emotional levels or intellectual levels, or
both levels, or not at all...
