My computer keeps chirping. |
The one next to the window (I'm using the one next to the door). Wynne
left 'Age of Empires' paused. It's been the same damn bird for eighteen
hours so far, and I still have no idea what species it is, beyond
'something American'.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

I'm pretty brutal with games left in pause. Except my games, of
course. I'm very reasonable about those ones.

I've heard noises like that, and for awhile wasn't sure where they were
coming from. Now I think I have crickets in my attic. How about getting
a whistle, or one that makes bird noises? Music?

It's supposed to be a hawk, but the Americans probably think it's an
eagle. It's too synthetic to sound real and can't even startle a house
cat. It has to be one of the most over-used sounds in gaming. Must have a
free license or be particularly easy to synthesize.
