my family went to the pdoc |
today. i had an appt for this morning, and never got to sleep
last night. not an hour. my pdoc is 40 miles away and the trip
there and back requires bits of busy interstate and city
driving, and i knew i couldn't or shouldn't do it. today was the
kids' first day of summer vacation. so, the entire family got to
take me to my appt.
at least we made an outing of it, and stopped on the way back
for baseball gloves for dan and joe, so they can play catch with
michael. then we all went for pizza.
even so, thy weren't thrilled at being rushed out the door on
the first day of vacation.
and my pdoc said very good. we'll see how things stand in two
weeks. the usual.

That could be a good thing, you know; being ill is just as much a part of
life as playing baseball or eating pizza; just not quite as much fun.
