my fingers hurt |
i just filled out 12 forms for the kids to bring to school
tomorrow. everything from health questionnaires to school
directory forms to lunch stuff. they're not all due tomorrow,
but if i don't do them all together, they don't get in on time.

I am so totally used to typing I can barely sign my own name any more.
Filling out any kind of paper form is agony. Especially the ones where
they don't leave you enough space for what you need to fill in.

my disability insurance form was like that. they wanted me to
list everything i do from the time i wake up until i go to sleep
and they provided a small box in which to do it.

I know how can you do that. Then you end up with this big mess cuz
you ae trying to write in this tiny space,,
You know I was amazed at. I do not have kids so I am out of
touch with alot of the whole back to school thing. I have a coworker
who showed me her back to school supplies list . Boy ! 2 pages of
stuff her 4th grader needed to have for the first day of school.

forms. maybe you could get the kids some kool-aid or something and have some
yourself, it could ease up the writer's cramp.

I guess medicaid forms are the worst, for the doctors anyway, and, it
depends on the doctor, they print off their own forms. Some include
questions regarding drugs / alcohol use, so they can adjust medication
accordingly. I used to tell them about my pop addiction, but not so much any
longer.

forms want doctors and dentists listed, then i had to look up
the dentisit's info again for one of the school nurse's forms. i
had no clue when one boy's last dentist appt was, so i made up a
reasonable date.

they need to know some of it, like the emergency form. but
what does it matter to them what date my kid last had his
teeth cleaned?
