My immune system |

Is great at attacking my own skin, but it can't get rid of a non-stop
cough after more than a week? I think George Bush is in charge of my
immune system.

Mine too. Which autoimmune disease do you have Thor? I've got a few I've
actually been diagnosed with and a few that I haven't gone in to get
diagnosed for. Mine are Uveitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Hashimotos
Thyroiditis, Shingles, I'm suspecting Crohns Disease and forget the other
one, but hopefully when I get back from Vegas they'll figure it out. I'm a
walking Autoimmune disease I think. Freaking GW.

:-( :-( Wow Jane, just...wow. I can't think of how you deal with
all that. Several people (probably a lot more) that I know of here
with major health issues have such a positive attitude and spread that
here on ASD, and if you can bear all that, then it makes me think that
I can deal with my stuff.

I think having most of this most of my life is the Key. Now if it ALL
started in the last year I'd probably be a basket case. The only new one
was the Uveitis, the rest were one at a time over the years. Once you have
them you can never get rid of them. There isn't a cure for Autoimmune
diseases just medical management.

Actually, do you eat Mc Donald's sausage and egg 'muffins.
That causes a bad cough for me and a friend of mine.
It also causes you to feel sick, so I'll pass on it in
future.

I think Hilary must be in charge of mine then. I have been very lucky
not to catch the colds everyone in my family has had all fall/winter
so far. *knocking on wood* That just sucks Thor, hope you get better
