Object: Need some legal advice....
Could someone please tell me what the penalty would be for selling
fake stuff on ebay in the uk?
I am planning on selling some "autographs" and stuff that celebs have
apparently used for a reasonably hefty amount, but of course, there is
not truth in them.
I have just got an old copy of Sgt. Peppers and scribbled what looks
like Paul McCartney's signature on there.
Would I be in trouble if I got caught? Of course, they could not
exactly *prove* that a celeb didn't sell the merchandise and to add to
that, I have always handled the goods, envelope and all necessary
items with latex gloves, so I cannot be found out.
Also, could someone please tell me what is the punishment for selling
the Paris Hilton sex tape on ebay, but just something I downloaded
from LimeWire? Or what about some Gwen Stefani porn, when all it is is
a picture of a blod being taken from behind, so you couldn't tell who
it was?
I've been wondering what scam I could do without having to leave the
house, and also one that is not too technical.

the law for selling fake autographs and pirated films on ebay?

Thanks for that. It seems as if my plan will work. At least the
autograph forging is not illegal, maybe I should thing of some other
things.
Why I'm doing this is primarily because I want some money for nothing,
but secondly is the fact that I hate people who absolutely adore
celebrities and are willing to do anything for them. They just seem so
pathetic. I used to think that Gwen Stefani was a nice person and sexy
and everything, but when I looked at the bigger picture, she's just
some daddy's little princess who hasn't worked a day in her life.
She was born just down the road from Disneyland, got an ideal job in a
shop serving ice cream, got famous and then had to do nothing.
I suppose I'm doing this to annoy the poor suckers, get money myself
and also annoy the celebrities.
And btw, did you know that I am also impersonating Tony Kanal.
Check this out:
http://www.myspace.com/tonykanal
Tony Kanal, (in case you're wondering), is the bass player for No
Doubt, (Gwen's band).
And by impersonating him, guess what, I found out that he had a friend
called Angela Kathleen.
And what's even funnier, is that she has asked me ("Tony") out on a
date!
The next thing I'm gonna do is find out his phone number through her
and then phreak a phone, phone him up and leave the phone off of the
hook so he has to use the payphone like a *****, and then he's gonna
be even more annoyed because I also hooked him up on a date he knows
nothing about !
Tell me what you think about this, and I'll show you a video of me
doing it.

I'm not sure what you're interpreting in the article to
reach the conclusion that it isn't illegal. eBay isn't
liable if a forgery is sold but here are the seller's
parameters:
"Each eBay seller has the responsibility of being the legal
and rightful owner of the merchandise they are selling and
they must accurately describe the item in question."
eBay won't get busted, but they'll give up your info in a
second, if asked, and the "law" might. Forgery is illegal,
no exceptions. I read about a guy who looked like Bill Gates
and used to (for a fee) attend corporate events, pretending
to be Gates for a joke. He signed some autographs, too, as
"Bill Gates", as a joke, and got busted.

The next thing I'm gonna do is find out his phone number through her

If you succeed and he gets annoyed enough to come after you,
Myspace has proven quite willing to give up that information.

Tell me what you think about this, and I'll show you a video of me
doing it.

Well, I won't encourage you -- for a number of reasons. The
reason you're most likely to care about is that you may not
know enough about how to cover your tracks on the Web.

That really sucks, I think that Bill Gates has too much money.
I'm not a socialist, but I think that there's people who really are
just abusing capitalism like Bill Gates and Richard Branson. And WTF
is Google doing by trademarking the phrase "I'm Feeling Lucky", if you
don't believe me, then go on the Google homepage, they trademarked a
***** phrase!
I know eBay won't get busted, but I don't think that I will either,
because they have no proof that they did or did not sign it. I handle
the photos with latex gloves, throw away the marker I use and the
celebs have no idea that this is going on. How the hell could someone
dispute it?
Anyone that wants a celeb's autograph that bad must be really weak-
minded anyway. If you think about it, it's just a piece of paper with
someone's name on it.
The next thing I'm gonna be doing is selling toilet seats that have
apparently been sat on by celebrities. That's become so much of a
fashion that Madonna has her toilet seats removed when she has used
one in case someone sells it.
Gwen Stefani doesn't though. Perfect target.

The next thing I'm gonna do is find out his phone number through her

You kidding! It's Tony Kanal, a celebrity. He ain't gonna worry about
some happy-go-lucky psychopath that's ***** his missus and
screwed up his phone. I'm in Europe, he's in US, think about it.
I've also filled out my MySpace details totally false, they have only
my IP.
He won't be bothered, but sometimes I wish he would, that'd bring a
lot of publicity to me, I could do with that to gain an anarchist
following.

Tell me what you think about this, and I'll show you a video of me

Gayle

I don't know a thing about covering my tracks on the net. I use
remailers and proxies, but otherwise, the bank details are mine.
My actual profile is fake. I've theived someone else's identity, but
that won't matter, they won't even bother taking it to the police. I'm
not that bothered, though, I lost hope in most things sane.
Gotta remember, this century, since the millenium, Pandora's Box has
opened, that is to say that the world ain't gonna be a pretty sight
for anyone soon enough. wtf should I care?

Funny you say that, my teacher discouraged my idea of forming a cult
and said it would never work, but even he says that this is almost
definite to work, and that is weird coming from him as he is a kind of
person who doesn't believe that any other way of earning money apart
from a job will work.
I'm not particularly aiming to be a proper business man, but I think
that even if I sell an album of the sweet escape with a little
squiggle on should get me about =A345. (If I say that Gwen signed it).
But you're right about saying that *everyone* wants it, because if
they think that, then they might be inclined to pay up quicker if they
think that the offer isn't on for much longer.
I'm also going to do something like sell a toilet seat and say that a
celeb sat on it.
I'm a little more dubious about that.
I might try out some cons in the real world. Maybe set up a stall on a
car boot sale and sell "autographed" things on there.
Old people are the easiest to con, (and I know that may sound evil),
but if you think about it, wtf are they gonna spend their money on?
I'd never hurt someone, or pickpocket them and force people to give me
money or take it without their consent, but if they are willing to
hand it over and they are that stupid, then fine, they've been
conned.
Do you use eBay then?

I'm sure you could make some money from it, hell, they are people who
are willing to pay hundreds just for a tie, all you need to do is
convince people that what you are selling is the new big thing and
that everyone wants it.

I'd never hurt someone, or pickpocket them and force people to give me
money or take it without their consent, but if they are willing to
hand it over and they are that stupid, then fine, they've been
conned.

Do you use eBay then?- Hide quoted text -

You have some good ideas there, especially about old people, my line
of work is a legal form of conning people, I tell them what to spend

You have some good ideas there, especially about old people, my line
of work is a legal form of conning people, I tell them what to spend
their money on and they pay me good money for it even if they lose
money on an investment.

Old people seem to be bored and have nothing to spend there money on,
so yes they are willing to give to anyone.
So are you just a bad financial adviser?
I could quite easily think of you as a cult leader somehow. I don't
know whether I should say this publicly, but didn't you say something
about having an open relationship and being into bondage?
You've just encouraged what would seem like some nutter to con
oldies.
Haha! I can imagine you and your wife as being sort of a syndicate
master and a scarlet woman going around preaching to old people that
you have the keys to heaven. :)

I have bought a whole load of junk from eBay, guitars, drums, bikes,
surfboards and a pool table

Sounds cool. I suppose my ideas might be a little more grandiose
though. I'd never buy off of eBay, see, I've got this idea that if I
work really hard all day in some 9 to 5, but also on the side do all
of these cons, I think, if I was to live on the very bare minimum and
cheat tax, I could be a millionaire by the end of the year.
No lies, seriously, I have no qualifications, and I won't lie to you,
I cannot form a cult, I'm a 16 year old boy with absolutely no friends
or social contacts, but I think if I grin and bear it and get to know
people. All I have to do is work in somewhere at normal hours which at
least will be about =A3100 per week, pull off my scams, which will be on
average =A350 a week, depending on how many scams I do. I've already got
=A3500 now and in August, I'm getting about that again. I would say that
by August, I would have about =A32000 pounds just by doing hardly
anything. If you bear in mind that I also plan on counterfeit, buy
something with it, then sell that thing in it's box, that might be
about =A32500
I know that that might not seem a lot, but if you think about it for a
boy that doesn't have to pay for anything at all, that ain't bad.
There's something what I learned from the mafia and it isn't so much
of a bad thing, and that is that you have to accommodate for
everybody. It might seem like a plan becoming a guru and that, but if
you look @ England and France in comparison to US, you'll see that
almost all of these cults are totally American.
American people might say, "yeah, that seems like a plan" whereas
English people say "***** off, charlatan". There's quite a struggle for
the charlatan market in UK and FR, it'd make more sense if I lived in
US.
But anyway, seeing as I do live in a "dead" country environment, I
think it's wise to now say, accommodate for what everyone wants.
Just supply anything that's fake basically or illegal in some way.

from LimeWire? Or what about some Gwen Stefani porn, when all it is is
a picture of a blod being taken from behind, so you couldn't tell who
it was?

I've been wondering what scam I could do without having to leave the
house, and also one that is not too technical.

go for it...sounds like a wizard wheeze lol
btw...what is your user name so i can make a point of NOT bidding lol

I am planning on selling some "autographs" and stuff that celebs have
apparently used for a reasonably hefty amount, but of course, there is
not truth in them.

I have just got an old copy of Sgt. Peppers and scribbled what looks
like Paul McCartney's signature on there.

Would I be in trouble if I got caught? Of course, they could not
exactly *prove* that a celeb didn't sell the merchandise and to add to
that, I have always handled the goods, envelope and all necessary
items with latex gloves, so I cannot be found out.

Can't tell you what my username is because I don't want anybody
snitching (Especially since the whole world can see this post!).
Tell me what yours is, and if you find mine, then I'll tell you to go
somewhere else.

I see, well that kind of seems like a real cliche if you were to buy
from me. Explains what the people who *want* autographs are :)

Oh I see, doesn't explain anything about you then?
I've never really been into football, certainly couldn't play it! (I
was always picked last at sport.)
I did watch the world cup though.

I do, but the thing is that the people who want a celebrity's
autograph *are* guilty. They are guilty of abusing capitalism and
paying for someone that doesn't work.
Just fucking look at Michael Jackson, he bangs on about all of the
poor people in the world and all of the hunger, but then he goes and
pays a hotel $5000 each night.
And wtf is that for?
There is no need for it.
So yeah, in a way, I am a vigilante, I'm a vigilante for logic.
I wouldn't do anything like pickpocketing, but 4 ignorant suckers, I'd
willingly prey on them.
