hello...new here...36 yr. old male...ive been depressed for years..tried
therapy last year but counseling/pills didnt help..often
suicidal..lonely..self loathing..
in the midst of filing bankruptcy..the loss of debt should cheer me up
but im feeling worse...never been in a successful relationship..suffer
several anxieties..my roommate is leaving soon taking with her the dog
we raised together..sometmes that dog was all that kept me
together..now he'll be gone..anyway....just a brief bio/intro...sorry to
ramble...

First - you can get a new dog. But what is it that you are most depressed
about? I believe everything can be resolved. There is a reason for every
type of depression, it takes some digging though to find it.

I'f you've had lots of therapy with no benefit, then either
A) You sabotage yourself, or
B) You have problems therapy won't help.
Why don't you tell us a bit more about what medications you've tried?
Maybe we can offer suggestions.
