I like individual.net, except that they don't support binaries.
They're cheap and reliable, though.

Easynews is the best, most reliable news server I've ever used, and I've
used all the big ones. $9.98 a month, and if you want to earn me $20,
use this link to sign up http://globalzero.easynews.com . Even if I
didn't get paid for referals, I'd still recommend them.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out along with % and Lisa's
recommendations. I'm going to go with a free one if possible but if I
use this one I certainly will mention that you referred me.

You could try setting up your newsreader for nntp.aoie.org which is free and
seems reliable. I have yet to see it not up and running.

I concur. Especially if you have any interest in downloading binaries --
the automatic decoding and reassembling web facility is fantastic, not
to mention the global search -- but even if you don't. The retention for
text groups is ridiculous, they have all of ASD for well over a year,
Jesus it looks like nearly two years. Everything about this service is
awesome. I've been using them for 6.14776786 years and will probably
keep using them even after I'm dead, just in case.

Autounrar is my favorite part, and easynews.support has the quickest
responding staff I've never seen.
