it doesn't ring any bells at all
it's called "Short Circuit", basically its based around a robot
designed for the american military, however the robot starts to gain
sentient intelligence through a bolt of lightning/short circuit.
After 2 hours of escapades, the robot is granted as having intelligence
once it recognises that it doesn't want to be dissembled and harmed,
plus it constantly reacts to being put-down, thus proving it's right to
exist as a being...
Kind of representative of the struggle of the outsider and a lesson to
teach kids not to write-off the things in people that suggest difference...
