No free speech in Canada?!? |
So, am I to understand that if I sit out in my front yard in Ottowa and
wave my banner around that says "WHITE PEOPLE SUCK!" that I
can be arrested?! Or is that okay?
Is it only when my banner says "PLEASE HATE WHITE PEOPLE.
THEY SUCK!" that I run afoul of the law?
That's similar to civil rights laws in the America I suppose, but I
don't think people are arrested for carrying signs that say "GOD
HATES FAGS!" at rallies in Washington DC whereas I get the
impression that in Canada an arrest would be made.
Would one get arrested for brandishing a sign stating "GOD
HATES PHONY CHRISTIANS" I wonder?

you might get arrested but not for the sign , causing a disturbance maybe ,
or assembling without a permit or tresspassing , but not for the sign
.

I'd definitely be yelling, "Get off my yard" and my dog would bark it out too,
just in case he brought his four German Shepherds with spike collars along.

damn...good point. its funny how well people know of what god hates and
feels the need to put it on those signs.
