At some point everybody has to grow up and take responsibility for thier own
actions,
We are not just re-active creatures we have the ability to think our way out
of destructive behavior!
You did not intend to mess up your son, part of growing up is seeing your
parents as people who struggled with there own demons,You can accept that yes,
maybe they were lousy parents but they did not do it on purpose,,, when you
really get that in a viseral way, then you can start to heal a little and
move on, and take responsibilty for yourself,
Who knows why people are who they are anyway, its that old arguement ,,,,
heredity vs enviorment,,,,,,,, I don't know, the older I get the more I think,
people just don't make sense,,,,, but you can love them even when you don't
agree or understand,,,,,,,,, all living things need love,,,,,,,,

Thanks Jill, I have replied to most everyone who reponded to my post, but I
wanted to say to you, your words mean a lot. There is not much more I can
say about the interaction between me and the boy ( or should I say man, he
is 23 after all) but I carry a ton of guilt where he is concerned and only
when I feel that he has truely forgiven me can I begin to let it go. Not
really good being dysthymic and carrying a load of guilt.

why me ,,,,,,,,,, really I am curious what is it about me that makes you want
to attack?? this happens to me alot, and I just am clueless what I do that
attracks people who really just want to watch me squirm,,, embarrass and
harrass me, my question is WHY ME? I would appreciate an honest answer, if i
don't get one I will assume all communications are over and will not respond in
