Object: No more lighters at a concert
I was at a concert a couple of days ago and the performer asked the
crowd to hold up their phones. Everybody had their little glowing
digital device. What a funny departure from the days of hold you lighter up.

I still use my lighter, but then again I don't smoke, I just like fire.
They confescated one of my zippos at a big tour once. I was mad. Then,
when I bought a Red Bull there, they rufused to let me have the can.
They had to pour it in a plastic cup. I guess cans can be used to cut
people or something.

No, thrown on stage is usually the reason I've heard.

That makes sense. I've thrown cups on stage before when the band really
sucks. Someone threw a shoe at the singer and hit him with it. They
finished the song and left the stage. They really sucked, but The
Offspring, who I went there to see, really rocked.
