The grass around here is still green but the trees are bare of leaves.
I sure hope the warm weather continues like this.

My friend in Chicago is visiting his new boyfriend he met over the
internet in Germany. They sent me pictures of Cologne, cool from the
top of the cathedral, a quicktime panoramic thing. He was straight and
led me off to my first college when i was a highschool dropout. Now
he's what they call, "a bear", which is a leather oriented, big gentle
hairy guys....they cook and have parties. and He's as big as freakin
Mark McGuire, with a nose ring. Too Tall, we always called him.
ya never know when somebody is going to come home in leather chaps.
Sex. What a mystery. (He says Connecticut, our home, is closeted. I
guess Chicago is a happening place.)
I also had a roommate from LaGrange. Started on those Mexican drugs in
Tucson, and it was bye bye pharmacy degree.

Those are very cool. It's so neat being able to see a place in detail even
before you visit. I've made a couple of those. Take a lot of pictures
while you spin and then stitch them together.

Yeah, I've done that. But I have NO idea how to put them on line in
that mode. Panoramas were the big attraction in the US in the 1840s.

It won't be long, hon. God bless him....snow days...weren't the good
ones GREAT?
My grandparents went to Florida each winter, and they lived next door.
So we'd get a piece of wood paneling, my old man was a carpenter, and
we'd get on gramma's porch, covered over with snow with an ice sheen,
and jump on the panelling, and slide to my house. 20 inches, Feb 12th.
my prediction. Oh, and 16" on Jan 28th.

hey franz...
How is Boulder doing? I have friends there, have a big letter to send
them, have no big envelopes. Except padded ones. Maybe I'll make them
a CD.
This guy moved there from here 20 years ago. Worked building those
Rovers on Mars out in Colorado. 33 years ago, he would sit and teach
me every Who song, Pink Floyd,...he couldn't play, ya know,
consistantly well, but he could teach me, and he sang better than
Robert Plant or Daltry. Really. Best singer I ever had. I got in
touch with him on a whim, and he and his wife, who is from here, write
long letters, and are really great to me. The internet thang.. Oh,
they have no computer, I found them. Genius Rover builder with a slide
rule.

I'm about 15 miles north (diagonally) from Boulder, so we actually got
MORE snow than them. It really socked the plains and front range. Often
Boulder gets more than elsewhere because it's kind of in a bowl up
against the Flatirons and a storm can just linger there...or the same
storms are bounched off by the hills and Broomfield and the rest of the
front range suffers.
If you look at the Pearl St. webcam:
http://www.gwha.com/company/webcams/ (which is an area I'm in
frequently...about 9th and Pearl, it's hung above a bike shop)...you can
see that they don't have massive piles of snow on all the curbs. Where
I'm up at I have to go flying at the curbs full speed or my bike will
high center.
I'm guessing he's at Ball then... I'm glad they're doing well again, for
a while there it appeared as if the guy down the road from me was going
to have to move away from aerospace and into canning. A lot of those
projects are also involved with CU and my good friend works on the big
iron there.
If you send something now it might arrive on time, but just yesterday
UPS delivered presents I ordered online around the 18th. Another won't
be here until the 2nd it looks like.

Well *****...I don't know where he works. Thanks buddy. I burned him a
CD and have a package marked to send. Dave...I'm tellin' ya, best voice
in my world. Ever hear 'ten tears gone", led zep, physical graffiti?
I saw Plant try it, he sucked, Nassau Colassium, '76/ Page watched me
staring at him from the aisle, he knew he sucked. I have a tape of
Dave and me doing it. I remember his face looking at me singing it.
F^$^king great. And Rovers, no less.
