That's because of following emotions instead of the heart.

Yes, very much so. Only problem is, not enough of them. When I lived at the
Arch, I had to walk past four convenience stores to get to one that wasn't
involved. And that's over downtown, on Richard's.
I used to go down around Abbot and Carral very early in the morning. I saw
how it was almost all being run from Chinatown except for the West which
was all Vietnamese Mr. so-and-so's. ***** them all, every last one and any
***** above or below or sideways that has anything to do with them. I
do not care what colour they are or what they wear. ***** them all and I'll
tell it to their faces anytime.

Asians are ok. Asian drug-dealers, slavers and thieves are not. And then,
the press blames it all on bikers, what a crock.

of course i don't see very many of them anymore

Yesterday, I bought a phone. The guy could hardly speak english and couldn't
even recognize french. He gave me the wrong PIN number and when I tried to
use it, the phone locked-up. I knew for sure that the number was the
voicemail access code and I specifically asked him for the phone PIN
number, he indicated that the voicemail code was was it, then I
triple-verified and he said, yes, just punch the number into the phone. and
no, that number is not how to get voicemail either. I now have no idea
whatever it was that he thought he was telling me. Worse, after the phone
gets all locked-up, pin block, I find that he didn't put the personal code
for over-riding pin block on the invoice either. So I had to wait until
today to get the damn thing to work. And worse, after being guaranteed a
year warranty, I see a rubber stamp imprint on the invoice, "Not Valid for
Warranty." He stuck the invoice inside the box before bagging it. If the
phone ever needs service, they'll get one chance to fix it free and then
it's off to court for me. The best part is, I have a verifiable witness to
the transaction. Also, he asked for a SIN number which he didn't get.
something definitely crooked there.
There has to be some kind of racism going on when people like him can get
jobs when so many others can't. That guy belonged in ESL school and either
the management failed to properly train him on all those code numbers or he
shouldn't be in that kind of job at all anyway. Everyone working in the
store was Japanese and it had a Japanese style chain name, Cellular Baby.
Two of them looked like they'd been doing too much ecstasy too. Druggies
everywhere in Vancouver.

There are times I wish it was legal . I really slept well on it , and it has
fewer side effects than what I now take for sleep . No side effects to
mention except worrying about police . But those days are gone unless they
legalise it :-(
I used to mix it into my spinich , and that is not hard on the lungs .

I used to go to AA with my uncle when I was about 14 . All I remember was
people telling stories about messed up family relations . The wierd thing
about it is the whole room was so filled with alcohol vapors , that you
would think it would explode when somebody lit a cigarette .

Well then that just means you'll need to leave your house earlier than
most people do. It's still doable though. I don't know for sure how it
works but I'll bet it's not something you'd need to do every day
anyway.
Listen to some good music on the way, maybe some talk radio if that's
your thing, or you can buy or borrow from a library (in your town or
the town the meetings are in) some books on tape to listen to during
the ride. Take the woman you live with and have dinner before or after
the meeting. Go for a walk in an unfamiliar city. I could go on but my
point is there are lots of ways to make the trip more enjoyable.

ok , i'll sit outside and get drunk ,
that'll be different

Just stay sober -- really is better for you, you know.

if i could do that i probably would , but something happens in my

brain ,

and it's like i go on auto pilot and next thing i know ,
i'm in the check out line at the liquor store

As you would say, so what are you going to do about it?

It sounds like it's time to check into your local chapter of
Alcoholics Anonymous.

ahhahaahah , there's nothing like that around here ,
i keep telling you , i live in the rocky mountains ,
AA meetings are 60 miles from here ,

Well then that just means you'll need to leave your house earlier than
most people do. It's still doable though. I don't know for sure how it
works but I'll bet it's not something you'd need to do every day
anyway.

Listen to some good music on the way, maybe some talk radio if that's
your thing, or you can buy or borrow from a library (in your town or
the town the meetings are in) some books on tape to listen to during
the ride. Take the woman you live with and have dinner before or after
the meeting. Go for a walk in an unfamiliar city. I could go on but my
point is there are lots of ways to make the trip more enjoyable.

and what am i going to do about it ,
i'm going to drink of course , geezus

Well if you don't want to stop that's a whole 'nother thing.

i have never wanted to stop ,
i just don't want the hangovers ,
that's why i keep a bucket full of tylenol 3's around the house

Oh well, never mind then.
Tylenol + booze = 1 nasty liver

After the 12th of this month , I quit ( I think perminately ) And no , this
time I am not hooked , but 20 years ago I definately was . I have another
bad vice that I will try to beat soon , one that I definately hooked on
probably worse than I was with alcohol some 20 years ago .
