now i'm ready for the ice to go... |
i've missed 2 days of work, hubby has missed 2 days of work...neither one of
us will be paid for it...tempers are rising in the house...i'm ready for
things to get back to normal. i don't know if i can stand another day of
this!!! AACCKK!!!!!

..tempers are rising in the house...i'm ready for things to get back to

I sure hope tomorrow is better, for both of us. The forecast for tomorrow
looks better than for today. At least I really hope so.

Thanks, I hope so too. My last flight there was uneventful but the ride
home was delayed by weather for 2 hours.
which dallas airport will you be landing in?
Dallas Ft Worth (DFW). The landing is scheduled for 9:21pm. I don't know
why they keep making reservations for me so late in the day. By the time I
get my luggage and the limo ride to the hotel it'll probably be after 10,
assuming all goes perfectly.

the airport?
DFW is such a huge airport. it confuses the heck out of me. i much prefer
Love Field. they're both huge, tho, so i guess it matters not!

According to mapquest and my last trip, about 30 minutes assuming we miss
rush hour, which we will at that hour.
DFW is such a huge airport. it confuses the heck out of me. i much
prefer Love Field. they're both huge, tho, so i guess it matters not!
DFW is massive. I'm glad I won't have to do the driving.
I feel the same way about O'Hare and Midway airports here. Using O'Hare is
a major inconvenience. You practically have to park in a different zip
code, take a tram, checkin, security, and then a very long walk to your
gate. I try to arrive with a minimum of 2 hours to make it through all that
mess.
Midway is a much nicer size. You can park closer and the lines are usually
never bad. As it happens, Midway is closer to me so it's less of a drive
too. The downside is the runways are shorter which forces landing pilots to
come down fast and often hard.
