remember a long while back i posted about a friend who needed to place a pit
bull?
the dog belonged to her son's gf who moved out and just left the dog.

well she found a foster home for the puppy with a rescue league. so now the
dog is safe and with a new family.

she was sad to have to give her up, but she just could not handle the
growing dog on her own.
my friend is relived though. there was no way she was going to put an ad in
the paper. she worried that whomever answered it would only be looking for
pit bulls for fights.
