coax crimp connector things, F-series?. I've got a coax feed
(actually two) and am using it it to type/read this and can
select about a zillion TV feeds at the same time on the same
cable that I've crimped together, 'puter modem simply off
a splitter. It's fairly impressive tech.

Yea. That's kinda what I needed. I got an 8' cable with one end
1/4" and one end 1/8", a 16' headphone extender so I can watch TV in bed
with headphones on, some coax, a coax splitter, and a coax coupler.

Do you just have a small set wired together? I hate that. I want to get
a wireless surround sound setup so I don't have to string wires across
the floor, and I can't wire the place because it's a rental and I'm
moving in August.

I'm going to save up for a really nice new receiver. One with wireless
for the speakers, and S/PDIF optical inputs. My computer, my DVD payer,
and my cable box all have optical outputs, and I'm dying to use them.

Yea, and audio equiptment is good for a long time. Top of the line
twenty years ago is still pretty damn good today.

Sweet deal. When I used to want something, but I didn't have enough
money, I'd rip the box or something, and come back a week later and see
it on the shelf 30% off. That works at Best Buy.
