the latest parnate increase seems to be helping. my mood's
definitely improved and it's easier to get things done. still
not quite where i want to be, but it's only been a week.
i'm more hopeful than i've been in a while.

Bunny, did you get a big box of carrots and greens for Christmas?

You're flying your freak flag again, Tim! :-) No, I must admit that I did
not get a big box of carrots and greens for Christmas. I did buy four
pounds of carrots and a few smaller boxes of assorted greens to give to the
buns. They're not getting the expensive arugula, though, that's all mine!
It's the most delicious green; it tastes rich and nutty. More good news in
the critter food department - one of the local grocery stores over-purchased
2 lb. bags of mixes nuts in the shell, so they marked them down to $1.99 a
pound, which is really cheap for mixed nuts in the shell around here. When
you have a pet squirrel, being able to get cheap nuts becomes very
important!
It's looking less and less like we'll be able to release Rocky to the wild
(well, as wild as the yard gets) next summer when the weather gets good. I
had hoped that he'd be able to enjoy the free-running life of an outdoor
squirrel, but lately he's taken to jumping on and attacking the pet cats.
He just has no fear of man or beast. If we release him, he'll jump on
passing dogs, cats, humans -- our cats won't hurt him, and I wear gardening
gloves so that when he goes nuts and tries to wrestle-bite my hand, it's
protected, but if he does that to outside animals and people, they'd
probably kill him. So I guess it's life as a house rat for Rocky. :-)
Fred got me a very nice digital camera that also does video. It's not
edible like carrots and greens, but I took movies of Rocky and you can't do
that with a carrot!
How are your furry friends tonight? :-)

My doggie, bunnies, and mice are doing real good :-) Thats something
about the squirrel. I dont think I would want that need to wear gloves.
Glad you got nuts for him cheap though. My camera does video too.

Great to hear Lisa. I'm feeling very relaxed at the moment. I
really needed some time off. I hope it keeps up for you.
