On the bright side |
My shoulder pain's distracting me from most of my depressive
thoughts. Mostly, I think of whether it's time for more ice.

can ya take the patch, the perk, the morph?
ugh. I'm drooling again. sorry.
people with pain scripts...it's stupid to be jealous, because they
have to have some bad crap to get the script.
Warm till Monday, Lisa.

I used to be on fentanyl patches with percocet for
breakthrough. After a bunch of years, my pain resolved and I
got off them.
Now I'm taking a prescription NSAID for pain and swelling and
lots of ice. Rotator cuff injury.
I hope tomorrow's nice. We're supposed to go with a friend's
kids to a corn maze/pumpkin patch place near here. Neat maze-
they set up some tubular steel in places so that people can
play music as they go.

we're taking our preschoolers (the 4/5 yr olds) to a place called "Don's
Grass" to visit a pumpkin patch soon. i don't know why, but i think the
name of that place is hilarious. i gets right to the point, i guess! :D

We get the pumpkins from the same farm as the Christmas tree

I hope they pumpkins where we're going. Apparently, they had a
bad year because it was so dry. You, on the other hand, had
plenty of rain!

Oh I missed this part! Yeah, I love October...my son's birthday is on
the 23rd, and we always go to a pumpkin patch or a pumpkin festival.
The last one we went to had a maze that was made out of bales of hay
stacked really high, it was neat. That sounds like so much fun, have
a great time. Now I'm wondering since you love to bake if you're
going to come home with pumpkins and make pumpkin pie ;-)

Funny, my husband's birthday is also on the 23rd. This is a
huge maze through the cornfield. I just hope none of the
younger kids gets scared. As for the pumpkins, I don't think
we'll bake with them. We still have 2 cans of pumpkin in the
house and my son's been itching to make pies with them for too
long. We will get this year's carving pumpkin, though,
assuming they have a good one.

I used to think having the good dope in big quantities would be fun, now
that I've got all I could want I *hate* it. I'm going to have to ask for
some fentanyl in addition to my methadone script, because I'm somewhat
concerned the pharmacy might not have sufficient quantity to fill the
Rx. Last time the pharmacist said "Oh, hmm, lemme check that we've got
enough of this first." Then all I can think is "*****, now I'm going
to have to just get whatever they have - and then go bug the doctor
again....damn CII regulations!"

Thanks, Rose. I think it's going to take some time. Hopefully,
I'll start exercises for it Tuesday at PT.
