Get that cat to the veterinarian if it goes on for more than a day or
two. Seriously. Intestinal blockage often can be fatal.

yea , i lost one cat to it that ate a rubber band ,
i'm not sure about this one though , it seems to be a recurring thing ,
he goes through it about every 10 days for a day

Constipation is common in cats. Apparently they need more water. At
least according to my vet. Maybe if he/she eats outside a lot then here
is not enough fresh water?

fish oil. I gave my older cat a little bit of fish oil and within 2
hours, he had a decent bowel movement.
use a siringe and squirt it down his throat.....this lubricates the
faeces so he doesnt get impacted and they pass the stool easily.
