you're thinking of someone else. i've never wanted to be a nurse. denise is
a nurse, chimera wants to be a nurse, but i have never wanted to be a nurse
ever, not for one minute.
and you saw my degrees a year ago, i scanned them and posted them on my
website. i have an MA, masters degree in special education, took me 2 yrs to
get it, after already having a BA, there's nothing instant about that. you
knew me the whole time i was in school getting the degree.
you act like it's some big ***** deal to be a teacher, what are you jealous or
something? I work my ***** off like 11 hours a day. And, it's not exactly hard
to get a teaching job. There's shortages everywhere , some places are
desperate and all you need is a BA in ANYTHING. Make a resume and send it
out, show up for the interview and act like an adult and they'll hire you.
They probly only had a couple other applicants, they're not swimming in
choices.

I don't know, but after seeing some of my kids in school without their meds
I KNOW why they're on meds. Some are adhd, but this kid is labled adhd and
autistic. ALL DAY LONG, he was rolling around on the floor, banging his
head, screamiing, crying, flapping his arms like a bird, kicking people,
wrote all over his desk , ripped up papers and flashed his privates at two
other students. it was one hell of a day. this boy NEEDS his meds. :)

i know... one came to my house as a boyscout with his mother... he starts
pointing... mom, mom... this is the teacher i was telling you about... hehe...
i'm in the elementary ed program right now... i did my 32 hours observation and
told the teacher i'd still like to volunteer sometimes... i try and get in at
least a partial day every week... lately being unemployed i'm getting in more

yikes. not way to call his parents and get them to bring him his meds?

we let them come in 2 days without, then if they come in on a 3rd day
without it, kid gets sent home.

ah. sounds like a decent compromise.

some kids can't go home tho, even if they're sick because they have no phone
to call. one time one was barfing all over my room all morning, then slept
on a mat the rest of the day cus we couldnt call his mother. it stunk in
there. :) he was mad he couldnt make spiders with us outa paper bowls . i
sent him to the nurse, she kept sending him back to the room cus he'd say he
felt better. then barf again. it was fuuuuuun.
