One of my pieces |

This is one of my examination pieces I will be studying for my sitting
next year.

Beautiful isn't it? I tell you if I can play this piece half as well
as Richter I will be doing very well indeed. He is brilliant!

Tell you what mate, I'd impress the heck out of myself if I could play
it like that as well! :)
I'm just starting out and can only play it at 120bpm (beats per
minute). It has to get up to 152 before it's up to scratch. I've got a
ways to go yet. Still and all I must say that I am enjoying the
practice. It's such a lovely tune to my ears. :)
Next on the agenda - Rondo Alla Turca. Mozart showing off his
brilliance yet again. :)

We'll see. Every piece is like a big puzzle to me. I start off with a
little bit at a time and gradually put it all together. It takes a
while before it's completed. I wish I was better and faster at sight
reading though. It's not my strong point.

their fingers!
Old fogey's like me need to work harder and longer to get the same

Well, I worry that you'll be very
critical of your performance after the
exam, but you've worked so awfully hard
to prepare -- so I do hope you find some
