Hi,
I decided a change of scenery for my son and I on the weekend, and decided
to take him fishing......
All went well until he decided to hook himself in the finger. Thank
goodness the neighbour in the next cabin over is a fishing guide and got the
barbed hook out. Quite an experience for the little guy.
Just thought I would share this adventure.

He also lost a tooth, so the tooth fairy helped him a bit as well...lol

Well, Just lied to my son...He wanted to know why the tooth fairy was so
cheap! Seems that $5.00 and some sugar free candy doesn't cut it anymore.
His friend got an iPod shuffle for his tooth.
So I told him that the tooth fairy had lost her bank card and having to
carry anything heavy was too much work for her to do. All she had was a
$5.00 bill in her fairy dust purse.
I don't think he is buying that one...Tooth fairy better get another job!

Five smackers and candy?! Whenever I lost a tooth as a kid, all that
pixie ever left me was two bits. And I was *grateful* for that quarter.

i hope so, as well. when i got home today, i took a shower and collapsed in
bed for about 2 hours. before i went to sleep, i prayed and prayed that
tomorrow would be a better day for my little campers. now i've got to pray
it will be better for my friend as well! of course, they've got that
funeral to attend, and an undrivable vehicle to contend with. and they're 3
hours from home. :/
