One of the greatest men I knew |
Died this morning at 2:40. He was my great uncle. He was a big strong
Christian man. He had six kids, grandkids, great grand kids and there were a
few great greats in there.
Once, one of his daughters married someone he didn't think she should have. He
didn't go to the wedding because he was against it. He took a few years until
he decided he was being stupid. He loved his family too much to waste the time
they had together fighting so he apologised.
I last saw him a year and a half ago. I am so glad I said goodbye then. Hugs,
kisses and tears. I have pictures of my daughter sleeping in his lap.
When I was little he used to take me to the barns to show me the rabbits he
raised and into the fields to see the cows and bass and catfish fishing.
He was a very special man and a very great man.

It takes a really great person to do that!
I'm sorry that your family has lost him. But I suspect that
anyone who knew him has become a better person for having known
him, and that's the best accolade anyone can receive.
