One of the women working for me left town |
x-no-archive: yes
Lots of problems in her marriage. Friday she called me, came over to
get her last check and give me my stuff back. She took her 4 kids with
her to a completely different state, all they had was the van and the
clothes on their backs. I'm the only who knows, she didn't tell her
husband, or her friends who also work for me. Just got a phone call
from her husband, I didn't answer, I recognized the number on caller id.
I imagine the guy is frantic at this point, trying to figure out
what's going on.
Oi. What a mess. I know nothing, I hear nothing, I say nothing.

One plausible theory is hat she was abused by her husband, and what she had
done before the first kid, she is doing it now with 4. What mess, indeed.

B-but women don't get abused by their husbands! Joe User told me they have
detectors that are 100% accurate and so they avoid being in such
situations!

Cops hate getting involved in domestic disputes, and I can see why.
I'd want to stay far away, but it can be hard to avoid getting sucked
in. The problem is, you (usually) have no idea who, if anyone, is good
or bad.

Why, yes, in fact, I am a rocket scientist.

I know her side of the story. It's tough not to get sucked into the
drama, esp. since I love gossip. She acknowledged some of the stuff she
did to bring about the whole mess. Now she's paying big time. I'll
miss her, I liked working with her.
