I hate the threading in Thunderbird, and I'd rather use OE for usenet if
I was forced to choose.

any improvement is a bonus

Try Xnews then, it is the best usenet client I have come accross.

That one's almost a reason to keep using Windows.

I use it under OS X, it's stable and pretty quick. Follows netiquette
out of the box, but has some strange issues with the way it
threads/dates newsgroup postings. It's fine on these if you leave the
program running all the time which I do. I just put the powerbook to sleep.
I don't use it as a mail client though. Apple's built in email program
is just *SO* good. The spam filter was probably 96% right to start and
I've honed that down w/ training so that spam about one spam gets
through per week.
At my various desktops I'm forced to use Outlook Express, I'd need to be
drinking Thunderbird to make that program any good.

i just started using thunderbird for news. it's similar to netscape 7.2,
but there may be some improvements.
i avoid bill gate$' (he's a partial jew, btw) micro$oft whenever
possible. i don't like netscape either, since they are owned by
jew-controlled time warner. so now i use mozilla firefox for browsing
(except for those sites that only work with satansoft internet
explorer), and mozilla thunderbird for news. i still use netscape for
mail, but that is only until i figure out how to import my old mail into
thunderbird.

You do realize that both of those programs are open source and any
number of contributors can help with development? And...given a
worldwide base of developers, I'm sure that jewish programmers helped
out with mozilla/firefox/thunderbird...
I for one welcome our jewish web browser developing overlords.

yes, but they don't profit from it.

What does profit have to do with it? You're still benefiting from Jewish
contributions to the world. Have you thoroughly researched every product
you use to make sure that there were no Jewish
developers/engineers/designers/assemblers/shippers/sales/marketing...
Of course you probably can't find anything in the mess that is your
apartment. "But I'm gonna clean it, it stinks" "I'm gonna get a poodle"
"I'm gonna get a bird"...
Most OSS developers are people working on a project in their free time
using skills that keep them employed and for which they learned in order
to get paid.
