Object: Opportunity knocks?
An acquaintance (another hispanic!) has invited me to New Orleans with
some friends of hers during Mardi Gras, which is right smack-dab in
the middle of tax season. I am tortured! Do I dare take vacation
during busy season? Or do I flee to th comfort of work and routine?
Or can I give myself the excuse that most of the people I would be
with will only speak Spanish and I would not enjoy myself anyway?
Is a weekend of debauchery really all that appealing? I am a college
graduate? Ought I not be above such shinnanigans?

The R&R will probably be a battery charger for the cruncher starting
mid-March.

Enjoyment transcends language.

There's several different versions of Mardi Gras, depending on where you
go.

I'd do it, but then I'm always getting myself in trouble with impulsitivity
and failing to think things through before acting.
