if everything goes well with millie, i'll probably get a second
millipede, maybe of a different species.
the next step is probably going to be a couple of zebra finches in a
long cage.

You mentioned before that you were considering breeding the millipede.
wouldn't that be easier if the next one you got was of the same
species?

i don't think i'm ready to take care of a dozen millipede babies.
I think they take care of themselves. I haven't heard that millipedes
are known for their parenting skills. Besides, imagine fitting nappy
(diaper) on over all those wiggly legs.
