Hi, Tim. Hope you're enjoying your day.
I'm not so sure about this brave front. Aloneness has advantages, but
I know what I'm missing. Holidays during my childhood were nice, then
went straight to hell. I miss the good parts of Xmess. This year
I've been completely numb (not drunk, just don't feel anything).
I spent so many years whining, crying, being despondent and irritating
the hell out of anyone who'd listen, I vowed not to do it again.
My major thought today is why a bright young man who seemed to have
everything committed suicide -- 18-year-old James Dungy, son of
Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy (former coach of the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers, still much-loved here -- American football). The family
was portrayed in the media as being the epitome of Christian values,
love and success.
All it proves to me is how fucking EVIL depression is. It can strike
anyone. I'm a bitter middle-aged loser in a housing project. Holiday
memories are of being tortured by relatives 20 years ago to off myself
so they could get rid of me. That kid, externally, had all I could
ever dream of. I'm still here and he isn't. It's just wrong. Life
doesn't make sense.
Well... anyhow... those of you who are among loved ones, I wish you
well. For those who are not... I understand.

I've always loved me, I was just taught that I didn't.

I like it alone. But then again I got Mary, and enjoyed the christmas
party with her friday :-) Some people think she is my mom, because I
dont look my age. She is 12 years older than me too, but a real
sweetheart.
