Object: Please...a number for a good suicide hotline?
Anyone have a number to a good suicide hotline? I just called one out
of the phone book and it was awful. I feel this terrible desperation
tonight. Something's gotta give.

i was looking for a number a couple of months back. i used Google and found
a couple. NAMI or some depression site had a list of them.
i don't know which numbers or organizations are worth a damn.

when things are really bad, i sometimes call multiple numbers,
as needed. in fact, that's probably what i should do tonight.

i found a list. hopefully there'll be one that's more helpful.
i've found that the same hotline varies, depending on the
current staff. my usual one was useless last night. luckily, i
have a list of ten i can call.
