I like eating out, if I like the food & the wait staff is nice. (I
tend to go to places I like over & over again, rather than going to

It has been really interesting reading your replies to this poll. Some
made me laugh and some made me think. Seems like there are a lot of
budding astronauts in this group. :) Large wild, cats seem to be the
most popular pet and most people kinda teetered around the sex
question (wonder why? <g>).

Easy one. Stay at home. I would much rather have take-out at home than
go out.

I do believe that I have many moons ago however I just can't recall
the situation or outcome at the present moment.

Oh boy.. not very much since it's holiday season here. I still like
seeing the re-runs of Mash and Seinfield. There's a show on Monday
nights call "wife-swap" and that is fairly interesting from a
psychological point of view. Not much else really.

Yes! About a couple of months ago, I was talking to my sister about
inventing a self-stirring spoon. I looked it up and as far as I could
see the contraption I had in mind had not yet been invented. A couple
of weeks later a young lad won an award for the self same invention.

Ummm. Okay, I will admit that not every shower my back gets a good 'ol
rub. I usually use a washer and plenty of soap and some rather
abnormal physical positions.

I don't know about strange but this teeth clenching thing has got to
do! Ouch! I remember at one stage in this illness I would blow on my
peak flow monitor every several minutes or so to see if I was having
an asthma attack or a panic attack. That was weird.

Yes I have seen a ghost in my old home when I lived with my parents as
a young adolescent. He didn't say anything but it was scarey.

still, turquoise waters of a Greek Island would be just the thing. In
Summer naturally. (and in a secluded area)

I want a horse. I really want a horse. I know it's boring but I love

Stay-home, but I enjoy out at times. I have to eat out every now and then, though.

A dish and a drink. Both loooong time ago. An idiotic waiter served me once a chocolate shake in a glass which had previously contained some beer... he didn't wash it right. Also I was once having a nice bowl of snails (local delicatessen) and I found this repulsive bug in it... I've never had snails ever again (nor I think I will).

I don't like TV, except for the very few programmes I more or less follow... I watch 'The Simpsons' every now and then, and when I can I watch some programmes on cinema, art, science, etc that are aired /very/ late over here. Of course I also enjoy a good film, of course, but the good ones are shown, again, at very late hours in the night :(

No, really, I have a dog, and don't plan of having any more pets (it's all too painful to see them age), but I love cats better than dogs. Anything bigger or more exotic would be too much work to take care of.

I am fascinated by large cats. I have a year pass to the zoo because

I am most suited at being me and doing the jobs I am capable of.

Enjoy eating out, but hate certain types of places, i.e. places with
lots of young, pretty, and obnoxious people, or places with lots of
obnoxious yuppie types.

Rarely. I can't stand onions, if I order something without onions and
they put onions in it, I'll send it back.

I'm a stay-at-home person. My wife is coming to realize that she can't
get anything out that compares with what she makes at home. On the
other hand, aside from what we eat, eating out has a charm often missing
at home. As a thing we're doing together, just the two of us, it's a
lot of fun.

When I'm stressed, I jump around in my sleep like a fish out of water.
Keeps my wife awake.

Nope.

I look foreward to being on good terms with a *lot* of different
animals. Especially big cats, I suppose, but, you know, elephants, bear
of every kind, orangutans, dragons, unicorns, all the whales, sea lions,
birds...
10) If you could work at any job in the world, doing exactly what you
would like to do, and already have the training and experience, and if
you were cured of your mental/emotional disorder/s - what would you
really like to do/be?
I've been pretty lucky in my jobs. A while ago, I thought I wanted to
be a troubador. Subsequently, I happened upon a bunch of online
aptitude tests and took 'em all, and only one said I should be a
troubador. The others said I should be a techie, and that's what I am,
an old techie. But, like wombn, neo, Glenn and Brad (so far), space
remains a fond fantasy (in my case, from age 3) and I'd still like to
travel there. Orbit would be nice. The moon and Mars would be wonderful.

1) Do you enjoy eating out, or are you a stay-home person?
I order in a lot. Thank goodness for good delivery in my area. Also like to
cook sometimes. I enjoy going out ONLY if I am feeling physically able to be
around people that day, which is pretty rare for me lately.
2) If you do eat out, would you or have you ever sent back an
unsatisfactory dish?
Yes, but then I always wonder what they do to it back in the kitchen and
then do not enjoy it as much as I should.
3) What do you like watching on the television at the moment?
Reality shows featuring sterong people such as Fear Factor and especially
Survivor. It makes me wonder where they find their "guts." I also like
watching new releases on DVD and collect quite a few. I hate going to the
movies and being in the crowd. I also do NOT watch the news at all. I have
enough problems of my own to hear all the bad crap in the world. It is
depressing to me.
4) Have you ever thought up an invention only to find out that it has
already been invented or was invented fairly shortly afterwards by another
person?
When I was little I remember thinking how much I hated having Howard Johnson
restaurants over all of the highway overpasses. I never said anything, but I
hated eating there and wanted to have McDonald's instead. Now.......all Fast
food there. Had I only said something then, but I was like 6 years
old...LOL.

Can't keep my foot still. Constantly bouncing when anxious.

Yes...I am the nut of the group. I have seen a ghost. It did not speak, but
hovered around for a while. It was quite interesting and I was not scared.

The beach. Minus the sand fleas though.

A flamingo. They are so graceful and beautifully colored.
