Object: problems (sp: quotes)
"You think you've got problems. What are you supposed to do if you're a
manically depressed robot? No, don't bother to answer that. I'm fifty
thousand times more intelligent than you and even I don't know the answer.
It gives me a headache just trying to think down to your level."
Marvin the Robot
Hitchkikers Guide to the Galaxy
Douglas Adams
"Do you want me to sit in a corner and rust, or just fall apart where I'm
standing ?"
"This is the sort of thing you lifeforms enjoy, is it ?"
"The first ten million years were the worst, and the second ten million
years, they were the worst too. After that, I went into a bit of a
decline." - after a rather extended wait
"The best conversation I had was over forty million years ago.... And that
was with a coffee machine."

My favorite...
"I ache, therefore I am. Or in my case, I am therefore I ache. Oh look, I
appear to be laying at the bottom of a very deep, dark hole. That seems a
familiar concept. What does it remind me of? Ah, I remember - life.
Perhaps if I lay here and ignore it, it'll go away again. Or then again,
perhaps not. To be perfectly frank with myself, if it didn't go away as a
result of me falling fifteen miles through the air and a further mile
through solid rock, I'm probably stuck with it for good. Why don't I just
lay here anyway? Why don't I climb out? Why don't I just go
zoodlewoordle? Does it matter? Even if it does matter, does it matter
that it matters?

ACCUSE, v.t. To affirm another's guilt or unworth; most commonly as a
justification of ourselves for having wronged him.

"But I'm quite used to being humiliated," droned Marvin

you like. Would you like me to go and stick my head in a
