really been here longer than me? You must be using a different name
because I have been here a long time and only the last year or so

Are you feeling better now? I have been here over 6 years. The trolls
sometimes seem like disfunctional family members! I have recently
learned better. My inbox is open but you have a fake one up and so do
I. LOL

Nights like you have had are no fun and I wish to never have them
again. I actually slept great once I went to sleep last night. I have
to get up at 4:30. Hubby works at Northrop Grumman (if you live in
NO, you know the company.) He mainly works in Pascagoula but also has
to go to NO, Gulfport, Talulla (sp?) anywhere they send him because he
is a training supervisor at all shipyards. Anyway, it's a 35 mile, one
way, drive, and today is his 25th anniversary there. (I am taking him
out for dinner)

Thank you Vicki. Yes I have a fake email addy. I guess it doesn't
matter, but being "usenet" you just never know. Not feeling much better,
but I did just take a Klonopin lol....so hopefully I'll be feeling
better real soon!! I should be asleep (it's 5:35am here) and I have to
get up at about 8am, but I just can't sleep, yet. Yes I know what you
mean about dysfunctional family members. I know a couple of people
here.....just a couple. Close enough to them to where they know what my
children look like let's put it that way!

OK I have never heard of Northrop Grumman. My hubby works in one of the
shipyards in New Orleans (there are so many) but that's just one I
haven't heard of. I'm sure he has though. I know Gulfport very well. I
used to take the kids there to the beach before Katrina, but of course
it's all a mess now.

TY for the kind words I really needed them tonight Vicki. Take care hon
and I am going to go lay down and hope that this Klonopin kicks in.

Yeah, it's the shipyard there. Northrop Grumman bought it out a few
years ago. Crap, I cannot think of the name of it. New Orleans and
Gulfport were called the same thing. I worked at all three places so you
would think I would know. I love NO. The people there love MY accent!!!
I love that NO accent. It almost sounds NYish with a bit of gumbo in the
mix. :)

I have AOL and SN is V2kar (no secret). Hope you are sleeping now.

We love your accent? What kind of accent is it? Northern? I love to hear
people from the North talk lol.....and we can spot an out of towner very
easily the second they start to talk. I like how people from the North say
"Pop" or "Yah" instead of "Yeah" lol....and everything is pronounced so
"properly" whereas here we just ramble on and on. Our accents are
definitely "unique". There are some people who have a strong southern
slang.....(not me) and the rest like you said, have the "New York Cajun
French" language, what a mix!! A dead give away of someone who isn't from
New Orleans is when they say "New Orleans" instead of nawlins!!

I will add you to my yahoo messenger ok? Yes I eventually fell asleep
around 6am after taking 2mg of Xanax and 1mg of Klonopin. That's what it
took to finally knock me out, and then I got right back up at 9am, but at
least I slept. Now I'm cooking some.......don't laugh.......gumbo. My mom
said "It's too hot for gumbo!!" I told her it is never too hot for a good
pot of chicken and andouille gumbo lol!!!
