It got worse. I decided, eventually, that I could access the books while
sitting on the other chair, but by then, Nelly was asleep on it. I do
not deliberately disturb sleeping cats, so I was totally stymied. In the
end I settled for a book I could reach, but only managed a few
paragraphs.
All that after three quarters of an hour trying to do something. The
words 'Self-starter' do not appear in by CV.
