Hmmm, looks like Australian 240 volt power board. Yeah I'd do it. It
won't
bite you, the pins on the plug might get a little corroded under those
conditions
in a swimming pool chlorine environment though depending on how much
current
the appliance needs. It won't bother the folk in the pool even if it
sinks. No ground
return path I can see in the picture.

Agree, until one of them steps out.

LOL!, or hands them another beer while barefoot from outside the
pool :-)
even then, I don't think it would be fatal.

Probably more empty bottles not in view, but from my experience
nothing much bad would happen as long as they stay where they are. An
off-camera GFI would be wise.

Ground Fault Interrupter. I don't know what's a RCD. Oops, now I do.
Yes, same thing. Google doesn't do well when I spell it "RDC."

The situation would likely trip an earth leakage circuit breaker
device.
Other than that it would be like a bird perched on an 11KV bare power
pole wire - it doesn't bother them. Something larger like a bat that
gets
it's wings across two phases - then you get to see sparks and flames.
