from the city building inspector. they don't care where I go, but I'm not
allowed in my own apt! they think this in uninhabitable, even tho it's just
a wet rug. what's so big about a wet rug?

oh, why not? I've done it a bunch of times now.
you can damage the computer if the voltage goes low. a generator is
very unstable especially if you have a lot plugged into it.

MOLD, bacteria all kinds of nasty stuff forming under the rug and even
ingrained in the flooring.
Nasty stuff---that water is not clean--it is muddy and picks up every dirt pile
and garbage pile it can as it comes your way.

When I lived in Daly City (just south of San Fran and far foggier), I
left my apartment closed for a month during winter break. Came back
and the bottom half of the curtains were *black*.
Landlords replaced them without a problem, but they told me to leave
the front air vents open when on vacation.
It took them about a week or so to replace the curtains and I didn't
get sick (at the time anyway, I'd still like to know why I had two
autoimmune diseases start up in a relatively short space of time).
I assume that we had that black mold around all the time. Just not
that overpowering.
Oh yeah! My bathroom would grow it too, so I would use vinegar on the
walls. Taking a shower always made me hungry for a salad.

I'm only going two doors down, I can come get what I need if I need
something. I just have to stay out till the rug is pulled out and they wash
underneath and wash the rug and treat for mold and put it back. That's
scheduled for Saturday.

big deal. It's not that big a deal. put some bleach on it, spray some anti

big deal. It's not that big a deal. put some bleach on it, spray some anti
stuff , replace the rug. Making me leave all week is too much I think. Oh

likely to suffer from mayonaise than most of the "toxins" that we are
warned about./
anytime now you should see news reports about increased health risks
due to asbestos. bet they forget to mention that the numbers are tied
to increased use of asbestos in the 60 and in 20 years there will
likely be 0 new cases.
