Try "Shaun of the Dead".
Good for a few smiles as well as the gore.

It's a surprisingly good zombie movie, especially for a comedy.
Traditional zombies, blood, guts, brains. What more could anyone want?

Something to snack on? A couple years back there was a gore festival at
my university. Zombie flicks, Troma flicks, geeks, Romero fans, freaks,
you get the picture. One day they were to show "Cannibal Holocaust". I
knew what the film was like, so I entered the room with several bags of
chips. All the horror fans(who hadn't seen the film as it appears) were
boasting and laughing, until the carnage started. Then, sudden silence.
It was then when I opened my bags and started eating. You should have
seen the looks I recieved. I'm sure I made some of them vomit ;)

I'll have to look through Wynne's films. It sounds like something a
fifteen year-old would like.

(Careful with that; "Cannibal Holocaust" is about human cannibals,
and contains some pretty disgusting visuals; it's not even a good
film anyway)

I was wondering if he already had it. He downloads things from the
Internet. He hasn't got a copy, but has seen it.

My hero!
When I was in university, I played a cannibal zombie in a student
movie. The guy who made the film eventually went to Hollywood
where he worked with Tobe Hooper. Once.

Well, it's actually not /that/ bad. That was once more than
most others...
