OK, here's another worry that's all in my head. The people I'll be with
onXmas Eve & Xmas Day are out of town until tomorrow. I was nominated to do
the baking--they're big on that stuff.
Anyway, the worry is---it won't get done.....and nobody's worried about it
except me! Gee, how unusual!
So I have until noon Sat. when I leave, and after 10 PM Sat night when I get
home to finish so i can leave early on Sunday morning
Plenty of time, right??

it with his 'help', it should be a piece of cake to do the
baking yourself ;-)

So far, I've made banana nut bread, marble pound cake, fudge, oatmeal
cookies, peanut butter balls, nutmeg bars, chocolate crinkles. Tonight and
tomorrow, I'm going for Chex snack mix, mini pumpkin pies, almond sugar
cookies, Lemon filled cookies, and spinich dip.
I really do think I'll make it, but the worry is kinda right in the back of
my neck...I think it's called stress

egads, do you think you've made ENOUGH yet?

Usually I make only 2 or 3. This year, the family is out of town until late
tonight, and there are 3 women who usually share the baking, so I kinda did
the baking for all 4 of us, since they won't have time (plus, I made enough
so that if some taste like crap, there'll be others--never made any of
these kinds before)

Wynne made the mince pies for us on Friday, when all he had as help was
a school-friend he had to keep explaining things to. They taste nice,
too.

They teach them all at school nowadays. It was impossible even to
imagine boys cooking when I was at school.
