so how did you finally get over this ache of feeling worthless?

. I had this woman that I loved in my
early 20s. She left me for a cop. Shortening the story a lot, I felt
used, worthless, incompetent, cried for days, weeks, ached from my soul.
I questioned life, an why was it worth living, if the woman i loved no
longer loved me back.
