I'm not writing as a Jewish person,I'm writing as just a person...I
think it's important to support France,with respect to the Anti French
nonsense of the last couple of years...France has every right to make
it's own decisions in foreign affairs...For us to be angry with them
for disagreeing with us and making their own decisions is extremly
unfair in my opinion...

France is smart enough to avoid driving itself deep in debt for NO good
reason.
Why didnt we just patch up the oil wells, and let their rich oil money pay
for the favor of getting their menace out of power ?

Subject changed because it seems like a good idea.
What I put in my original message, then took out.
Jacques Chirac is no more France than George Bush is America.
The bashing going on between the French people and the Americans I
consider nonsense, much like the bashing that goes on between
supporters of various sports teams.
If the allegations made in the book under review and reported in the
book review are true, it makes it difficult to support the position of
France in the run-up to the US action in Iraq.
France certainly has the right to make it's own decisions with respect
to their foreign policy, I think we have the right to not like them.
The US has a right to make it's own decisions, and France can dislike
them as much as they want to.
If it is unfair for us to disagree with them, would it be equaly
unfair for them to disagree with us?

It's fair for France to violate U.N. sanctions against Iraq and help Saddam
funnel Oil for Food money into his own pocket?
