Sleeping for days continuous |
Is there any health benefit of sleeping, say 24-72 hours continuous? When I was
an 8th grader, I got into an argument with my parents during a Christmas break
.... for revenge, I stole my mom's sleeping pills and decided to use them
back-to-back in order to sleep through 4 days continuous. When I finally
decided to stop sleeping I felt very very relaxed, my mind wasn't as cloudy,
and my energy levels beyond the charts. I'd bet any money that sleeping 24
hours continuous every now and then has some health benefits.

I wish I could sleep for days. Frequently, I simply cannot sleep, also
for days. I can easily imagine some health benefit arising from a
surplus of sleep, if only because I am so familiar with the health
detriments associated with a lack thereof...

There is a sleep disorder that causes this, I can't think of the name off
hand... I don't think this is the real issue you should be concerned about
though. Taking someone else's medication without prior authorization from a
physician can cause a lot of problems.
