i always seem to want a nap at this time of day, just before my
son's due to get off the school bus. i hate him coming home to
me sleeping, so i won't. i'll stay awake and be useless,
instead.

Wanda takes her afternoon nap at this time every day.
I must be sleeping better at night because I don't feel the need to sleep
during the day much anymore.

I went through a long bought of insomnia, waking frequently all night long.
I think it was a side effect of the Prozac I was taken. It's listed as a
side effect.
I couldn't sleep at night but I would nod off during the day. I actually
fell asleep in the bathroom at work, twice. Eventually after I complained
about it several times, my doc gave me Ambien. It works pretty well. I
still wake up sometimes but no where near as much as I used to.
The only downsides to Ambien is it loses effectiveness if you take it
constantly. Is also can affect memory so I sometimes do stuff in middle of
the night that I don't remember doing the next day.
I sure hope you can figure the meds out.
Bruce.

I've never had that side effect. I even used the "european" dose of
15-20mg. The US FDA says you can only do 10mg but my Dr. just wrote an
"it's OK to give more - I say so". It does quite well for me.
Lunesta doesn't work as quickly or keep me asleep as well. I also get a
*horrible* metallic taste for a while before I fall asleep.
Rozerem gives me nasty dreams.
