nope. just the generic form of ms-contin.
i had that, generic percocet and hydrocodone. the hydrocodone
might as well have been sugar pills, though, for all the good
they did.

Sorry to take so long to reply. I'm currently on 100 to 150 mg a day. I
can have up to 200 mg a day. I started out on 20 mg and that was nothing
for the pain. 100 holds me pretty good, and the 150 for higher pain days.
If i go up to 200 I notice I sleep a lot but don't really get that much more
pain relief. I tried not taking it thinking I wasn't getting any relief
from it and when I went off of it the pain became severe and I realized it
was doing a heck of a lot more than I thought. I also find that it doesn't
make me loopy (yeah, subjective I know :-) or overly sedated. I do have
some of the other side effects that come with daily use of this type med but
not the altered mental status. I've been pleased with it. It is tricky to
get a dosage that works and I do play around with it some. I'm fortunate to
have a doc that will prescribe me the 50 mg ones that way I can take minimal
dose or maximum dose depending on the pain level that day.
Good luck, let me know how it goes.
What dose are you on?

He said that we'd probably need to adjust it, but started at 20mg. It's
not giving me coverage for the whole day so I'm going to call over and
say that 40mg is probably needed. I expect that would be just right -
for now.
It's been working well for me, and as far as cognitive things go, you're
right it's not very intoxicating. I feel a bit of a warm fuzzy buzz in
the morning, but that's short lived. I have been getting tired earlier
but "earlier" means that it's at pretty much the appropriate time.

We should set up a drug exchange program with all the meds in ASD. I'm
on 5. If your current rx isn't working, make a trade on asdmedswap.com,
why wait for pdocs, appointments and insurance.
