Four hours of tests revealed a massive tumor near one of my mother's
ovaries. (I never said I was a medical specialist. I'm just a medical
pessimist.) An exploratory will reveal whether it's malignant or benign.
But her blood chemistry is so out of whack that surgury at this point
will most likely kill her. It'll take another two to three days to get
her in shape to undergo an operation.
I really wish I had other things to write about today.
Thanks greatly to everyone for all your kind and meaningful expressions
of sympathy. They all have helped me much.

I am sorry, Noon, but being pessimistic doesn't help. Trust your mum will be
OK, and wish it with all your heart. That's the way your wishes come true.
Good luck, and my sympathies.

Hi, NCN,
My best wishes go out to you and yours. I remember the kind things you
would say when someone lost a pet, when I was around more often than I
have been the last couple years.
