I finally put an old computer in the electric-heated room (bedroom).
Cheaper and more comphey than running the hell out of the gas furnace !
Now it will only be set to keep the water pipes from freezing !
It only took me 4 MONTHS.

I have two PCs in my den, or lair as I prefer to think of it. Leave them
running, with monitors on, and the heat hits you when you first go in
the door in the morning.
It only took me 4 MONTHS.
Clocks and calendars, who needs them?

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

It would have been cheaper (time wise) to just buy a 2nd NEW ONE !
Live and learn.

the ppl who take old mainframes home have to cope with the heat output,
among other things.
