what will happen when i reboot

It's impossible. If you flash away your CMOS, the computer won't boot,
much less re-boot. I would advise against it.

The whole time I did a home-brewed CMOS upgrade I was scared shitless
that I would ruin the thing.

i totally lost my cmos , once ,
it was pretty wild , i met some good people , who knew ,
what i needed to do , but it cost about $ 125.00 ,
no biggy , i was .... a new guy
